Tip do not install bc in the program files directory on win 7 machines
Canon is what people argue exists on ships that don't exist.

Welcome to the Bridge Commander Central forums!

Are you using an actual physical version of Bridge Commander aka the real CD in hand?
Try not to install the game under Programs/Activision/Bridge Commander. Try installing the game somewhere else on your computer.

This is a generic problem so I will instead of reinventing the wheel point you to a ubisoft article listing possible solutions (just keep in mind that ubisoft is not the publisher of stbc): http://ubisoft.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/117/~/an-error-has-occured-during-the-move-data-process,--113
