Need assistance in MP ship selection
« on: November 30, 2011, 08:01:14 PM »
Ok i decided to experiment with a modded install on my PC for kicks to see if i can replace an existing KM ship with a newer model which i have done which was the P81 connie
with Wileys ST6Enterprise. I have got her in MP fully working including the icons but on the ship selector list where it says Constitution it now appears as ???. Reading past thread from like 4 years ago i know i have to edit a TGL file but i do not know what file i need to edit and how would i go about to editing it. Any help is greatly appreciated

This depends on the Foundation ship plugin.

new ship then new TGL, replaced ship then update TGL.

you can post the tgl here not pics of it.... just put it in a zip or rar.
Canon is what people argue exists on ships that don't exist.

If it is KM1.0 (why the hell this old version...update asap) it is online: http://kobmaru.de/svn/tags/KM1p0/data/tgl/Ships.TGL

BCMP works with it.

Which version of BCUT are you using?

Latest version of BCUT (1.8) refuses to open the tgl which Defiant posted. Actually every known TGL editor which I know of refuses to open this one (BCUT, TGL Editor written way back in 2002). It is due to empty name string.

I'm now guessing that you don't have the same ships.tgl which defiant posted. So I ask again that you post that tgl here.

I assumed they were not the same due to me being under the impression that he was able to actually read the tgl with the latest BCUT.

It would be useful to share this information in case anyone in the future runs into this thread.
