Hailing Issue
« on: December 02, 2011, 01:23:50 PM »
Right, does anyone know if there's a way to fix this minor issue?

Because I'm trying to expand the number of Bridges that can be hailed in the mod, and this has got me stumped!

I think it has something to do with Camera angles...

I don't know how to fix it personally as scripting was never my thing, but I know a few people will chime in with an answer :D

Found the issue:

It's because of where Camera1 is in the nif file...any suggestions?

...yeah I'm not a moddeller, was only by accident that I found this!

And I was under the impression that Bridge Nifs couldn't be edited once they were put together? Or am I wrong about that?

You can do limited editing of bridge nifs but in my experience more trouble than worth.

I think USS Sov was on money (as usually is on these things) when he mentioned camera co-ordinates. I don't think it's so much as case of editing  nif as finding numbers in relevant script that control that and edit those.

Alternatively someone made a nice shiny new version of NX bridge, so maybe could try downloading and trying that?   :)

I will have a go with the new NX Bridge!

And I've been trying to change the camera co-ordinates in the script...and when that didn't work I started messing with MissionLib and that didn't either!
