...Probably not, but the number I get(379.6m) could be considered ?original intent,? a term that I think I will be using from now on, and ?canon? be damned.

I'm visiting the folks this weekend for Mother's Day and my dad wants to go see it. I'm quite frankly psyched.

I do hope there is a reset button as there normally is with stories envolving alternate realities!

How is that going to work now? They've already started thinking up a sequal.

I see this as a another reality, working along side the 'real' one like the Mirror Universe does.

Speaking of which... I wonder what a JJ Mirror universe would be like?

F**ked up!!

Just saw the movie this afternoon.  Ace :)

Still can't get over the uglyfied'new' enterprise though
I miss :bigdance:

well, looks like i wont be seeing it this weekend...
i just tried to purchase IMAX tickets for this evening, and the 7pm and 10pm shows were both sold out...
and, there are barely any seats available for the rest of the weekend, for any shows...
i suppose i should have purchased tickets earlier this week, but then again nothing is more annoying than sitting in a packed theater anyway...
ah well, maybe next weekend...

i seriously didnt think it would sell out in IMAX lol
there are some seats available for tomorrow and Sundays shows, but i really dont like being in a packed theater...
i could go Monday afternoon, when there are much more available seats because all the annoying teenagers will be in school...  another reason i dont want to go when it is packed, i dont deal well with hyper loud annoying teenagers...
(no offense to any teenagers here lol)

heh when I went to see it in IMAX the crowd was mostly of the age 20/30+ with a few
what looked like senior high school students.
Canon is what people argue exists on ships that don't exist.

Well, if this is any indication, http://trekmovie.com/2009/05/08/star-trek-brings-in-7-million-thursday-night/

That's 7 million for the 7'oclock to midnight showings.  Damn good start if you ask me.
