Thanks. Though I don't think the class name will be changing any time soon... It's grown on me. :P

As for my exact location, that's my own little secret. :3

I like the new additions, and yeah, probably better to get everything more or less settled before hasseling lint again.  :P

Thank you. :) And it's fine, at least to me, as you were actually pretty funny...

ALSO!
I am pleased to report that I have gone leaps and bounds in the world of the Mithra-Class Starship, today! I have finally added a REAL shuttle bay, rather than my half-@$$3D "hole" on the lower secondary hull. I have also done a lot of work with the deflector, and I now believe it's complete, or nearing said title. I am currently working on adding some major PUNCH to my bad girl, being the dual  half-nebula-style weapons' pods mounted over each side on the aft, just above the nacelle pylons. Each pod will boast four forward-firing torpedo bays, and three aft, making the TOTAL torpedo bay count so far a WHOPPING 24. No joke. The pods will also be platforms for more phaser arrays, as the ship's main hulls can only support a minimal quantity. This will solidify the Mithra as a ship of war, with the primary intention of absolutely tearing through enemy lines with little effort. There will be other variants, however... So far, all I have planned is a version with weapons' pods, and a (admittedly more realistic) version without the pods.

...Gah, seems a bit godly with the pods, huh? :/ I need input here...

I'll try to get as much done as I can tonight, so I have a really nice set of pics to post before I head off to dreamland. :)

Yeah! :D Keep the pods! The Federation needs a ship that is built to tear through enemy lines. Just hp her right and it will be believable. Maybe the pod variant show be slow and sort of lumbering.

That's what I was thinking, yeah. Rather, not slow... Quite fast to break through the lines... but as a consequence of the added mass and power consumption, she'd be very difficult to maneuver, as the ship would drift due to poor acceleration...

:) My thoughts exactly. I guess by slow, I meant slow acceleration.

Here she is, folks! The line-breaker! The battleship Aeries, weapons pods and all! Of course, the weapons pods are not entirely complete, though getting there. I stretched back the nacelles a bit to stream-line the ship; The pods, shuttle bay (behind the bridge), and deflector dish are all a product of a few hours today. I feel wonderful, and it's about time, as I really need to get some shut-eye for work tomorrow. x_x

Obviously there is a lot of work to do, still. I'm waiting for the phaser strips (I'd imagine it'll be a while), I've got to work on cleaning the model up as much as I can in this older app, add in a bunch of other little details I want, finish the pods, fix up the bussards, then spend some time with somebody to learn max, so I can clean the model up PROPERLY. Oh, and I still wanna make a new forward torpedo turret (the thingy in front of the deflector).

So yes! I'll post pics for you now... The Aeries is tired, and will take his well-deserved sleep, too... G'night BCC.

-Aeries.

*wooohoo*
Now if that isnt a linebreaker!!
she still has her brutal and provoking body, good idea to stay at this!
to me it seems odd that the weapon pod is soo long, but I like the idea of it being divided in 2 in the half!
odd doenst have to mean bad ;)

I just simply have to say I like it
"The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of the darkness. For he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know I am the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee."

Interesting design.  Also, it is good to see designs that are more alien influenced than regular Federation.
