I still prefer your original re-design over the raised nacelles
SAME HERE!!
I must agree.
If you want upswept nacelles, I think it would be better if the secondary hull didn't sweep up as well.  Feels now as though it were a wheelbarrow or handcart if you get my drift.
im afraid i have to agree with the rest...  the nacelles did seem to fit better in your original design rather than their current location...
but i love this ship still :D

No problem, wrapped nacelles it is. The current arrangement is rough and not to its final refinement.

Hey Wiley, I have an idea for the torpedo launcher (pulse phaser cannons?) cutouts in front of the bridge.

You have them cut at a 90 degree angle, making them L shaped from the top.  I think that interrupts the streamlined look of the ship.  Instead I would have them cut at more like a 120 degree angle, have it hollowed out backwards, then have the torp launcher/phaser cannon assembly tucked inside further.  I hope this sketch explains it better:

I had another idea.  If you still want to try upswept pylons, you could do something similar to DJ's Athena.  Just fill in the space at the back a bit more and have the pylon/secondary hull join at the bottom.

Somehow it looks a lot like the Protector from Galaxy Quest too. :P

EDIT: I removed the extra pics because of the NO REFERENCE PICS thing.  Woops.

I never was a true fan of ships that had pylons connecting from the very bottom, but the Protector was an exception. Anyways, I've added the "wrapped" pylons, and pulse cannons near the bridge. The blue grille will be located in-between the pylons on the inside of the nacelle. Also, the current saucer impulse configuration is that of the Akira class, other than having a clunkier one obstructing the smooth flow of the saucer to the engineering hull.

That ship looks like it could eat Species 8472 ships for lunch and as for the Borg... they're just a morsel.

Maybe spend a few extra polys smoothing out the pylons. They're a little choppy imo. Otherwise I really like the design you've got going :]

Agreed, more noticeable on the top pylon than on the bottom though.

It's really close to your Mithra-class starship. I've fixed the pylons and soon I'll be working on the deflector area.

Also, I've uploaded the Koerner Enterprise, so it will be available to download shortly. :D

It is mega close, too, you're right. I LOVE what you did with the Pylons and nacelles tho... they're pretty much what I always wanted, but I was never sure how to implement it. XD gods I hate designing pylons!

Either way, looks like you're in business! Good stuff! :]
