Maybe that's what the indent on the front of the secondary hull is, and the "cutout" in the neck is the deflector. :p

In all seriousness, though, I think it may be a good place for a torp launcher. How about a turret there similar to DS9'?

Everybody talks about weapons in that spot, I'd love to see an auxiliary craft there but not something like aeroshuttle or captains yacht but something rather like Delta Flyer, something that would serve as a small explorer/scout craft (if Sambreign cannot fit somewhere, smaller unit is sent with science team aboard) ... just an idea ;)

both Sambreign and Connie refit looks gorgeous ! I think we came to that moment when cookies just won't cut it anymore ... we need cakes here  :funny

The Blue refit is now ingame. Once I get them all in, I'll add the blinkers for the hardpoints.

Your models always nail the attitude of the ship perfectly.  You outdid yourself on these, well done.

What is it with people and megaphasers?   I'll stick something there.

Nothing special from my side, I assure you. But looks like a good place to have one instaled, just it. :D Hey, don?t get me wrong, it was just a suggestion. Knowing your habillity and seeing what you?ve done until now, I know you will come with a good option for that place, and it no need to be a megaphaser. ;)
Keep doing the great work.

Looks almost as if it could be from the original series after they did a hd update to the graphics. Truly excellent work and the lighting looks well sweet.

To answer a few questions in the case this thread may be getting confusing to the casual reader:

For the Sambreign, the area just above the deflector is now a 1-deck shuttlebay, which makes the ship a possible thru-deck carrier.

For the TMP Constitution Pack, all of the ships are working ingame, and now have blinkers and era-specific hardpoints. I have yet to convert all of the textures to 1024px (in addition to 2048px). All in all, the pack is nearly complete. Beta testing should be soon.

I guess I'm the only one that liked the area above the Sambreign's deflector just the way it was. :idk:

Sambreign class reminds me a lot of the Odyssey class only with a single neck and swept forward nacelles.

Overall very nice design.

Another update:

1024px textures have been created for the TMP Constitution Pack. PM me if you want to beta test. I want people who have tested my stuff before. I'm looking for about 3 people.

I've fixed the ID map issue with my Galaxy Class. It was a combination of the mesh having issues and some stupid script typing on my part.  :banghead:

Regarding your Galaxy class fix, are you talking about a new Galaxy class mod you're working on or the last one you released a while ago?

It's basically the same mesh, but I've added some more polies around the saucer, neck and pylons. Plus, it now has ID maps. The Venture variant is also included.

Hopefully my advice helped out on the Galaxy.  I had a similar issue with the Hawkeye Sovereign before I made a new ID map for it.

This is about the most accurate Constitution refit I have seen next to BAZ1701's. Looks just the model itself. Big ups to you Wiley for the hard work! Can't wait to play them.

Real nice looking, definitely one of the best connies out there.

Anyway do I need special permission if I want to play around with in in a 3D rendering program? (yes I do think it is that good)
