Well, hopefully, I might be getting 3DS Max 9 soon. *dances*

Heres some unidentified High Guard vessels! I know its small but that allows more room for me to make things a tinsy winsy bit more fun for me (My personal favourite is the second ship)!

Hey, if you beat my rendition of the second ship on that link, I'll be your grandson. :P

Dalek, I would say remove the sun. It is possible to make a sun in the center using custom nanofx blinkers. Just make a new folder in /SpecialFX/GFX (name it DalekSun or whatever) and copy over blank.tga and blinker.tga. Then, open up blinker.tga and edit it however you like (also try experimenting with making it high resolution, unsure if this will affect usability ingame.) Now you have effectively cut down your poly count and maintained some realism. (Don't forget to add the blinker in the hp and specify size and color ;))

Right...um...translation..."jibber jabber jib jab, jabba wabba DalekSun". I'm kidding :P. Shouldn't be too hard...cross your fingers...

Wait, how will the blinkers work in milkshape? I haven't even begun thinking about making it BC compatible yet...

On that note, actually, how about utilizing the shuttle launch script to launch a plethora of magogg... however the hell that's spelled... swarmy shippy things? what was this amazingly-cheesy world ship thing equipped with for weaponry, anyways?

If you had Max, I could show you how to create NanoBlinker-like objects. ;)

Ohhh, here comes the cheese...

The Magog Worldship had point singularity weapons. Basically black hole bullets. Big, black hole bullets. They did a monkey load of damage to poor Andromeda...

As for the Magog swarm ships, they're relatively simple to model...

And no, I don't have Max so :P.

Firing black hole "bullets" would be possible with GravityFX and Shuttle launch. Look at SG Pack v3's nukes for inspiration.

Werrrrrllll, I'll tell ya laddie, these black hole bullets did no pulling or shoving. They just ripped through the hull. But its a really really really really really really really good idea. :D :D :D

Edit: What they did do though was make space sort of warp around them (so it looks all squishy).

DO NOT GET THAT.
3DS Max 9 doesn't support the Bridge Commander version of nif. Only 3DS Max 3 supports the BC nif. If you get 9, it will be a waste of money. Get Max 3 if you can find it.
Can't wait for 2014 to start.

Get Max 3 if you can find it.

Which you can't. Anywhere. Not legally anyway.

While Max 9 doesn't work with the official exporter, the Niftools one does work sometimes. The Max 09 one hasn't failed for me yet. There's always other people that can export your stuff if yours doesn't work properly.

And one from me too! I've been able to successfully get models from Max 9 into BC. Just takes a little knowledge.

pretty. About the HP, though... perhaps she could be a bit better balanced to the other BC ships? last time I played her, she was as maneuverable as dJ's valiant. >_>; which was a bit crazy if you ask me...

But accurate to the show, that ship could stop on a dime, flip over, then run full steam at the thing chasing her.
