The lighting was at the top of the Garden....it's best viewed from TMP and TWOK during the beauty passes.  As for the inside, there aren't too many reference pictures of the Garden...at least I've never been able to find any (anyone else with reference photos please shut me up :P).  Your best bet is to look at the Polar Lights model of the beauty for reference.

What eclipse said.  The pics of the studio model are, after all, unlit.  The blue lighting is really only seen in the shot where the Enterprise passes over the camera in TMP before warping out at the end of the movie.

Fantastic work on the thrusters, by the way! :D

Goodness gracious me, that is utterly gorgeous. There's something about this connie above all else that screens "ACCURACY" it really hit home in the RCS pics. Radiant.

I am also using the font FederationBold which is the most accurate for most of the hull writing, bar the registry No, any help in this area is also greatly appreciated.

Catch me on MSN for those ;)

Thanks mate, just got back from Greece, so will be working on this heavily over the next few days.
You will have to point them out to me mate, as im unsure as to where you mean exactly.

Thanks mate, I will get on ASAP.

Cookie for you, good sir.  :D

Ahh, are they marked or identified on the hull in any way? or just blended in with the rest of the hull pattern?

if you look at the ventral schematics of the ship you'll see that they have a line through the middle of them that denotes that they fold inward to reveal the docking port...

Ah ok, I have now seen this, although these docking ports are not really not docking ports as such, and therefore my original numbering was correct,

no 1 the bridge,
no 2 the saucer rim,
no 3 & 4 neck
no's 5 & 6 ,main hull

and 2 x aux's hatches or whatever they are on the underside of the saucer.

Shouldn't the impulses be more orangey red?

I'm just thinking it should be less yellow and more orange.
