I was just thinking, perhaps make the bussard collectors less pronounced from the nacelles?

And considering the thickness of the saucer, I think the impulse engines should be a lot bigger to accomodate that thickness.

All in all, I'm loving it!

thined the saucer and replaced the bussards.

They will be black buring impulse and blue at warp

The nacelles look better with that stubbier bussard.

Baz I love it know it doesn't have the sticking out bussards.

It's so strange to look at, it's screaming 'JJ-prise' at me which isn't my favourite design yet she looks beautiful from those angles just like the normal refit Connie does!

REbuilt the nacelle tops, added the under bay on the engineering hull and chamfered the edges around the underside

I think the bussards are staying that way simply cos it resembles the JJ-Prise bussards more with a TMP twist.

ok the model is almost final.

I have added a texture to show the warp glow of the bussards, they will be dark during impulse flight

I don't suppose you could use a texture that looks like its coming from the centre and isn't simply like a wall of blue? e.g. make it more spherical?
