I did said that goddamnit ! "What you had to do.  What you always do.  Turn death into a fighting chance to live." ...
okay ... again I turned out to be a slowpoke ... :funny

I would reduce saucer section as it was blown in half durin SD, at least Bridge was vaporized as well as half of frontal sections :P what's more damaged sections were weakened during Khan assault (obviously) thus those spots were far more burned out after self destruct (two holes on port side saucer near impulse engines section) :) don;t call me ST3 NERD :P

I too, love to look back at the beginning of this thread, and see how awesome a modeller you've become!

 :yay: WELL DONE!

Brilliant addition to the pack, what approach are you gonna take to the HP?

looks fantastic as always!

BUT

there is something strange imo with the connection of the pylon and the warpnacelle on the right nacelle (left for us if you stand in front of her)..

It seems that the pylon is not really fixed correctly on the nacelle..

Perhaps I'm seeing some pah wraiths again but hey  :P

Afraid your seeing things they are firmly attached.
 :P
Anyway for todays update. the nacelles are mostly done.

Note the bridge, array and impulse are the MK1 textures and are purly there as place holders.

Hotdamn! That's frakking gorgeous. Those textures are magical in their subtlety.

The only thing is the saucer. Is it too late in the game to give it extra segments? Would that drive the poly count up too much? it's a touch angular around the rim. If it is, it's not a deal breaker at all! Beautiful work.

I agree with bren, it needs a rounder saucer

I agree..saucer COULD use a few more polies..but im looking at that bridge area...the modeled bridge is fine..but the textures are a little suspect..namely the bridge lights that glow on the saucer...they need to be white..and the side lights need to go closer to the cowlings on the port and starboard side of the bridge..also the forward floodlight is wider than the side floodlights...just a few nitpicks to make this ship completely bad-ass and accurate as hell...

Cpt Sisko, please re-read the text with the latest pics the bridge, impulse and array are from my original ship and will be replaced.

As for the saucer edge it will mess the mapping up to change anything now.

amazing baz!

Cookie mate!

Question: those little curves on the saucer (the edges) can you smooth them? So it looks completely smooth?
