Ok if I convert to Mesh then check it is upto 12.5K. Alas my hope of 10K is out the window asI still have no neck or nacelles.

Plus the detailing of the neck will get that up even more (the section where it meets the sec hull). you could go over the mesh again after you're done and shave off what you really do not need.

Agreed, but I would hate to see any of this detail have to go.

The K'tinga looks fantastic and it isn't even finished yet.  :)

This project is definitely showing off your skills, a well deserved cookie.

The thing is to keep the detail with the less polies possible, and that isn't easy ;)

Excellent Baz.

19k isn't too bad at all.

Thanks for all the fine work you've blessed us with!

First off, could you render bigger resolution pics, like 1280x980 px? These are too small to really pick out small details.

Second, add some perspective ones too.

Now, so far: you have segments on the side "walls" of the head base that you really don't need (you really need only 3: the two end ones, and that one in the middle for the top portion where it drops after the bridge dome). Also, the sec hull bottom dome has too many segments, same goes for the spherical part of the head, more than you realistically need, I'll get back on you on that one, I can explain what to do with those two better with pix.

Start to look at the cobra head first.

Here are some larger renders.

Hmm...it's worse than I thought. Could you wait until say Tuesday or Wednesday? I'll have enough time then to help you out, I have exams on Monday and Tuesday (Oct 3rd and 4th).
