Any plans for the Excelsior "variants" ? The Lakota sub-type, as well as the version(s) with a different shuttlebay, bridge + impulse crystal(s) ?

The "rendezvous" image of the Hood and the Enterprise, looks almost like it was taken directly from an episode :)

You could make the TMP ones turn their grilles on at warp with the warmup script that my stuff uses ;)  :D

I will be doing an Enterprise-B/Lakota version but not the NX version.

Love it Baz!

Question: would you consider modeling in the laser turrets on the Daedalus? It's always bugged me how the TOS ships fire their beam weapons out of "nowhere". Yes, I know that it wouldn't be canon to put in turrets but... it's more "correct" IMO.

Sorry to late in the process to add things to the mesh.

Very nice. I think the overuse of the red ruins the overall look. You could tone it down or make it a shade of gray.

I'm not a huge Daedalus fan, but it looks fine to me.  I wouldn't mind seeing an Enterprise-style texture job though.

I have to agree with WC, the red striping is too much, especially if it's the same color as the pennant.  I'd change it to a darker shade

*resident Roundhead makes an appearance*

I've also seen "UESPA" versions of this that were drowning in blue.  however, the Dades have been one of THE most mysterious of the early ships, because the closest we have to canon for a daedalus is the model in sisko's office

I could list EVERY dade mod there is at filefront, and they all have different hides and weapons on them.

Baz has stated repeatedly that he is using the Doug Drexler version for his.  if your looking a "blander" version of the dade, locate the one from limey98 and JB06 (and if you download it, let me know.  I have corrected a mistake on the texture that renders the e-hull blurry.  i sent the "repair" to limey, but they didn't issue a correction)  i've done the same to the old Nova model, the textures had been made misproportioned.

best line I've ever read
Me: mine [my bridges] would probably be simple to get the characters to use.  the only person that sits is the captian.
Baz: space is vast there[sic] legs will be tired by the time they get to the next planet

This is probably my favorite thing I've ever seen you model.  (Terrible grammar, I know.)  I'm going to have fun with some In Harm's Way scenarios.  Maybe some screens based off of that...
Thanks for letting me know the forum was back up, guys.  I thought everyone died.
