I'd remove the Nova-Class nacelles and replace them with a Miranda-Class / Nebula-Class / Prevaricate-Class type overhead module.

I like it too, it resembles Oberth-class a lot.

It seems to have very modular nature. Similar to Thunderbird 2 from Thunderbirds.  :D it also seems to have pretty beefy defensive capabilities.. Size-wise I'd say it's smaller than Norway but slightly larger than Nova. Streamlined shape gave me vibe of that alien slipstream ship that was trying to get USS Voyager crew into trouble, USS Dauntless..

actually its more of a saucer separation vessel but built as two distinct separate ships to give better strength and usability.

eg: the "saucer" would be similar to the galaxy saucer but it would be able to travel at warp speed and be used as a completely separate vessel. used as a transport ship for example with some capability such as science and research.

I really like your ship designs. They're a very interesting break from the true and tried types.

Hmm.. I think that Bobcat-class would be more fitting for this one. :D Seeing that it has stubby tail section..

Hobbs: my advice to you is to file these away where you will ALWAYS know where they are.  I can't tell you how many of my old designs of starships and such have been lost because I doodled them on a sheet of paper that was lost somewhere.  It's good that you make scans of them.  Don't lose those images! ;)

heh kinda looks Dominion influenced.
Canon is what people argue exists on ships that don't exist.

I love the immutable-class runabout. The other ones I'm not so sure about. The new Defiant-based escort is cool.
