Actually bots shouldn't be that difficult (famous last words  :)).  At least in principle.   Some work on engineering side.

Can see it being a timing night mare but instead of lift door animation just have the whole life move with the biped animation up and down prior to the walking cycle.

So agree in principle should be straight forward.

Luckily Ops does have at least one normal walk in entrance and the COs office could be used as another

are those images on the set the actual textures, or just place holders?

Magnificent work so far! Very recognisable, even at this early stage.

Are you planning on modelling Sisko's office?

Klingon Academy now works on XP/Vista/Win 7 thanks to one dude's patches, click here for details. I highly recommend it!

Yes but will probably be last thing.  Looks fairly easy to do as quite spare from reference material: desk, chair, window, couple of screens at side.  Significant things are the details:  the baseball, the ship models (Saratoga?  and another one I think)

the other ship is the Daedalus. and then there is also that funky space clock from that one episode where the crew gets paranoid and turn on each other.

Quote from: Me from your SP Mod thread
I know it's off topic here and you're not even close to this phase in that project but while we're on the subject of characters on viewscreens I had an idea for your DS9 Ops set that you may find kind of cool.  Might be do-able with the skill you've shown.  I'll post the details over there.
So like I was saying over there, the whole Data/Brex in the engine room from the SP campaign gave me an idea for Kiska's placement on your Ops set.  I know I'm thinking of step 800 and you're only on 10 or 11, but I thought I'd spit it out while it's in my head and I have the time.

In E3M1 you can call Brex just by pressing F5 and you'll see him in the engine room.  Do you think it could be do-able for Kiska in Ops?  Press F1 and she pops up on the viewscreen on say the Defiant?  It would definitely give your set here a unique flavor and I'm sure if anyone can pull it off you can.  Anyways, just an idea.  Like I said, I know I'm thinking way far out right now, just getting it out before I forget.  :)

Hmmm, interesting idea.   :)   Definitely do-able, but think would need to work with JB2005 on this - he seems the current king of character/script mods.   I was thinking be nice to have setup where any capital ships that approach, you call up viewscreen and relevant captain appears:  Card on Galor, Rom on Warbird, Klingon on BoP etc.

Now put SP mod to one side been able to return to Ops, and some new renders.  Everything's still all WIP and placeholders, though fair bit may end up in final.  Rear Engineering console was a tough one to get right, with all the faces and angles but quite please how turned out  :)   Please, no nerd comments re: "that bit not right", "that lcar doesn't go there", etc.   Folks can have their say when finish first draft  :D   But if anyone wants to ask 'how did you do that?', 'how did you make that?',  cool

It shines like reality  :eek what a bridge Lurok!
Though much is taken, much abides; and though
We are not now that strength which in old days
 Moved earth and heaven; that which we are, we are;
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.

Too bad we can't make Sisko's office window with animated background simulating rotation of the station , or can we ? :D
